Hello and Welcome!

Hello and welcome to the Hourglass Fashion blog. My name is Jax and as you may know already, I am a self professed clothing addict. I think the obsession comes from not having many options growing up from an overweight child to a plus size woman. So when I did come upon a treasure that fit just right, I was always so excited. I even remember my favorite clothes as a kid still. I was so happy to actually have a little skirt that had tiers and twirled! Hey I was 7 what can I say... I was easy to please.

Seems that nowadays the plus size clothing selection has gotten abit better but the business is still in the dark about what we want and need. I will never understand how such a demand is there but supply always fails to meet the need. I suppose my theory is that people just don't like to accept fact that .. Yes, there are "fat" people on the earth. It's just another way we get overlooked which is ironic because we are the easiest to see. I suppose I get abit irate about the whole issue so I will try not to get carried away on my first post.

On a lighter note, I look forward to going forward and adding the blog to http://www.hourglassfashion.com/ for your reading and ranting pleasure. Right now it forwards to my shop on eBay but I will be unforwarding it very soon. Thanks for reading!
