Ok...There's a story behind the oomphing up of Hourglass Fashion. It basically begins with me being half asleep at 1am and doing design work. It then escalated into me completely messing up the HTML code and unable to retrieve my old css menu. So I will think of the change as a forced upgrade to a cooler looking site -(yeah...that's the ticket!) You can only imagine my horror as I went to view the website before I trudged sleepily off to bed and the menu was missing!!!. Oh boy... So, for the moment the menu will be a tad plain until I can figure out what I want to do. For now, just the homepage has the changes made. I will continue work on the rest of the site throughout this week.
I also added a new "window shopping" feature on the front page where I will showcase certain items and rotate them. Kinda like a modern day mannequin display :) I'm working on changing to display 3 items but I'm admittedly not the best at lining things up LOL. Even with Front Page, I am still an "eyeballer" at heart when it comes to aligning things.
My update of the plus size career and casual wear page will be delayed until probably tomorrow since I only got about 4 hours of sleep. You can see where my sleepiness got me in trouble with the design last night so I'm a little afraid of touching the website today LOL. sheesh....
I'm beginning to think that crumpled up in a drawer somewhere is a fortune cookie fortune that says beware of technology in February 2009 LOL.
All in all even though I made a big snafu, I had fun correcting my errors and I'm going to think of it as something that was just meant to be.
