Hourglass Fashion Spotlight June 2009 is up

I totally fell in love with the Maxi dress this summer and was inspired to create the Fashion Spotlight this month for summer dresses. The maxi dress is simply the opposite of a mini dress. Long lengths and often empire waist styles are prevalent. This style is really great for almost any body shape, especially those with curves. My favorite one so far is the Amelie chiffon dress pictured below from IGIGI. It's wonderful they were conscious about the strap size so we can wear a bra with it. I think some fashion designers assume we all have small chests and can go au natural. Give the maxi dress a try this season. I assure you, you will feel like a total goddess!! ~Jax
